We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

01Nature of Our Platform

PB Collective is a technology platform, not a direct provider of coaching services. Coaches available through the platform are independent service providers.

By using PB Collective:

  • You engage directly with coaches
  • Coaches may access and process your data to deliver services
  • PB Collective provides the infrastructure that enables this interaction

PB Collective provides technology infrastructure only and does not provide coaching, medical, health, or performance advice. All coaching services are provided by independent coaches who are solely responsible for the advice, programs, and services they deliver.

PB Collective does not supervise, control, or guarantee the quality, accuracy, or outcomes of any coaching services. You acknowledge that any actions you take based on coaching or information obtained through the platform are at your own risk.

We collect information necessary to operate the platform and deliver services effectively.

Personal Information

  • Name, email, phone number
  • Account login details
  • Payment and billing information

Health and Performance Data (Sensitive Information)

  • Training data (workouts, performance metrics)
  • Recovery and readiness data (pulses, fatigue, soreness)
  • Injury and rehabilitation information

User-Generated Content

Coaches are granted access to your data solely for the purpose of delivering services to you and may not use your data outside of the platform without your consent.

These outputs are informational only and are not a substitute for professional judgment. Final decisions regarding your training or health remain with you and your coach.

We may use de-identified and aggregated data for analytics, product development, and performance benchmarking. This data cannot be used to identify you.

By using PB Collective, you consent to the collection and use of health and performance data for the purpose of delivering coaching services.

This data may be:

  • Accessed by coaches you engage
  • Used to inform training, recovery, and lifestyle decisions
  • Processed to generate insights and recommendations

This information is used to support training, recovery, and performance insights and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You should seek qualified healthcare advice where appropriate.

You may withdraw consent at any time, noting this may limit platform functionality.

06Data Sharing and Disclosure

Coaches

  • Coaches you engage will have access to relevant data
  • Multiple coaches may access shared information where applicable
  • This enables coordinated, multi-disciplinary support

Third-Party Service Providers

  • Payment processors
  • Cloud hosting providers
  • Analytics and monitoring services
  • Communication and messaging infrastructure
  • Wearable and integration partners

These providers are only given access to the information necessary to perform their functions.

We do not sell your personal information. Coaches you engage will have access to relevant information required to deliver their services. Where you engage multiple coaches, your data may be shared across those coaches to enable coordinated support. You have control over which coaches can access your information and may revoke access at any time through the platform.

You are responsible for any content you upload, including messages, images, and videos. By uploading content, you grant Personal Best Collective a limited right to store, process, and display that content for platform functionality. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our terms or is deemed inappropriate.

07International Data Transfers

Some third-party providers may store or process data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers comply with privacy obligations.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including:

  • Role-based access controls (client, coach, admin)
  • Secure cloud infrastructure
  • Monitoring and access logging

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication controls, and role-based access permissions. Access to personal information is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who require it to operate the platform.

In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Australian law.

We retain different types of data for different periods, including:
